Wedos.protection focuses on protecting websites, APIs, and critical applications against cyberattacks and unexpected overload. Its service is designed to keep online services fast, available, and secure through Anycast protection at Layers 3, 4, and 7, with setup described as possible in less than five minutes by changing a DNS setting. The offering is aimed at a wide range of users, from blogs, small websites, and simple projects to small and medium-sized businesses, organizations subject to NIS2, and large companies, banks, governments, and enterprises.

The company offers cloud-based Anycast DDoS protection for Layers 3 and 4, along with Layer 7 protection supported by AI. Its services include an integrated Web Application Firewall for threats such as SQL injection and XSS, as well as a reverse proxy that hides origin IP addresses and filters traffic in real time. Wedos.protection also provides AI-based malicious traffic and bot filtering, automated CAPTCHA and cookie management, DNS amplification attack protection, and DNS flood protection. Its plans are offered in tiers named START, ADVANCED, EXPERT, NIS2, and ULTIMATE, with features including GeoIP Blocking, WebSockets, use of an own SSL certificate, NIS2 logging and reporting, and a free WordPress plugin. In addition, it provides Custom Dedicated Locations, offering dedicated infrastructure in selected geographic regions for data residency, compliance, performance, and isolation requirements.

WEDOS was founded in 2010 and became the largest hosting company in the Czech Republic within 31 months. The company later expanded beyond web hosting into IT security and launched a global project under the WEDOS Global brand. In 2024, additional companies were established under WEDOS Group SA in Luxembourg, and in 2025 the headquarters moved to Luxembourg.
